These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the website miyar.info and the engineering consultancy and training services offered by MIYAR | معيار, New Damietta, Egypt. By using the website or requesting our services you agree to these terms. Specific projects are governed by a written quotation or agreement, which takes priority over these general terms where they differ.

MIYAR is an independent engineering consultancy. We produce technical documentation (shop drawings, production drawings, work orders, BOM/BOQ, cutting lists), review designs for manufacturability, support factory processes and quality, and deliver training courses. We do not manufacture or supply furniture. Manufacturing, materials and final product quality remain the responsibility of the factory or supplier executing the work.

Every engagement starts with a written quotation describing scope, deliverables, timeline and fees. Work begins after the client approves the quotation and pays any agreed advance. Fees are quoted in Egyptian pounds unless stated otherwise, and invoices are payable within the period stated on the quotation. Additional scope requested after approval is quoted separately.

• Provide approved designs, dimensions, material choices and site information that are accurate and complete.
• Review and approve drawings before they go to production. Approval confirms the design intent; MIYAR is not responsible for errors in information supplied by the client.
• Confirm that designs provided to us do not infringe third-party rights.

Deliverables are provided in the formats stated in the quotation (typically PDF, DWG/3DM and spreadsheets). The quotation states the number of revision rounds included; further revisions or changes to the approved design are charged at our standard rates.

The client owns the designs they provide. On full payment, the client receives a licence to use the drawings and documents we produce for the project they were made for. MIYAR keeps the right to its working methods, templates and engineering know-how. We treat client drawings and commercial information as confidential and show work publicly only with client details removed, or with the client's permission.

Course places are confirmed on payment. Dates may be changed by MIYAR with reasonable notice; in that case participants may transfer to the next date or receive a refund. Course materials are for the participant's personal use and may not be redistributed.

We work with professional care, but our liability for any project is limited to the fees paid for that project. We are not liable for manufacturing defects, material failures, delays caused by third parties, or losses arising from information supplied by the client or from changes made to our documents without our review.

The content of miyar.info — text, drawings, images, 3D models and the MIYAR name and logo — belongs to MIYAR and may not be copied or reused without written permission. The website is provided "as is"; we aim for accuracy but do not guarantee that it is free of errors or always available.

Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
